Tea with Santa
Santa and the KidsEvery year the Children's Museum of Richmond hosts a "Tea with Santa" event. Since we are finally in Richmond, we decided to get tickets and go this year. It was a lot of fun.
Unfortunately, we had tickets to "A Christmas Carol" at Theatre IV yesterday and it was canceled due to the snow so we were glad that Santa didn't have to cancel as well.
Everyone got all dressed up to go. The kids had cup cakes made by Rudolph (a very talented reindeer), sang songs with Santa, danced, and drank hot chocolate or cider. They also had other tea cakes, cookies, and a teeny turkey sandwich. Santa also read them his favorite Christmas story. Very cute and nicely done.
Jack asked Santa for a something that was a "secret" which should make Christmas Day a surprise for him and for us. Emma was a bit shy with Santa at first, but warmed up to him in the end.

Have a happy Christmas week.
